Built with the industry,
not for it.
AggreGet started with a simple observation: a third of demolition material that could be reused ends up tipped because nobody knows it's there. We're fixing the part where it's invisible.
The yard tells the truth.
Every demolition site in the UK has stockpiles that quietly turn into "tip it Friday". Meanwhile, fifteen miles away, someone's paying virgin-quarried prices for the same material. The phones don't connect those two things — and the price of a postcode lookup is too cheap to be the reason.
AggreGet is the missing layer: a simple, document-vetted marketplace that lets the supply find the demand by itself, with haulage handled.

The moment is now.
The UK generates around 63 million tonnes of construction and demolition non-hazardous waste each year in England alone (DEFRA, 2022 data). Landfill tax stands at £126.15 per tonne in 2025/26 and rises to £130.75 from 1 April 2026; meanwhile the EU Waste Framework Directive sets a 70% C&D recovery target that the UK already exceeds nationally — yet locally the material still flows to tip while buyers nearby pay quarried-virgin prices. Add rising virgin-aggregate cost and reclaimed material is already cost-competitive on every measure that matters.

COMPLIANCE POSTURE
How we handle waste documentation.
Every seller on AggreGet holds a valid waste carrier licence, is registered on the Environment Agency's public register of waste carriers, brokers and dealers, and produces a Waste Transfer Note for every load under the duty of care set out in the Environmental Permitting (England and Wales) Regulations 2016. We verify these credentials before listings go live.
Operating principles.
Four rules we wrote down on day one and re-read whenever something tempts us to add another feature.
Documents before features.
Compliance comes first. Every seller is vetted, every chain of custody is recorded. If it doesn’t pass the paperwork test, it doesn’t ship.
Local before national.
Closer matches win. The first sort key is always postcode. The country can wait — the next ten miles can’t.
Phone-free, not human-free.
The platform removes the cold call. It does not remove the relationships. Real people handle disputes, onboarding, and edge cases.
Price openly.
Listed prices stay listed prices. Haulage quoted before commitment. No bolt-ons after the load is gone.
